What’s the mindful triathlon?

The Mindful Triathlon is a friendly challenge that goes beyond traditional physical competitions by incorporating elements that promote overall well-being and mindfulness. It’s a holistic wellness experience designed to enhance physical, mental, and emotional health.

The goal is simple: complete these challenges

▲ Running (or walk) for 5k, 7.5k, or 10k (choose your running distance)

▲⁠ ⁠Yoga for 1 hour with a yoga teacher

▲Guided meditation for 30 minutes

No previous experience is needed—just come ready to have fun and enjoy the challenge in a supportive environment.

You may have seen him running along the Tejo on Tuesday evenings with a large group of runners  or organizing a Latin night at the weekend.

Fernando has been involved in the community since day one, and his love of running is still going strong after 15 years.

We’re delighted to have him as our Lisbon community leader for English speakers, his hospitality is one of a kind. Whether you’re new to the running club or a regular, he treats everyone with kindness and patience

Let’s finish this challenge in beauty with a picnic potluck – bring your food and share with your fellows runners (optional)!

FAQ

What should I bring at The Mindful Triathlon?

You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat, a t-shirt or extra clothes if you want to change after the run, cushions if you want a comfortable seat while you meditate, and a blanket for the picnic.

You can find easily a yoga mat at decathlon or any sport shops.
